Ministry of Health: 76 new infections, 14 recoveries, and 3 deaths from the Coronavirus were recorded

Damascus, (ST) – The Ministry of Health announced the registration of 76 new cases of the Coronavirus, the recovery of 14 cases, and the death of three cases of registered infections with the virus in Syria.

The ministry indicated in a statement, which SANA received a copy of; that the total number of infections registered in Syria so far has reached 2293, of which 519 have recovered, and 92 cases have died.

The first Coronavirus case in the country was registered on March 22nd while the first death was reported on 29th of the same month.

Several countries register new infections and deaths in the Corona virus

Meanwhile in the world, India registered 60,975 cases and 848 new deaths from the Coronavirus during the past 24 hours.

The Ministry of Health stated that the total number of infections in the country reached 3.17 million, while the total number of deaths reached 58,390.

In Brazil, the Ministry of Health announced the registration of 17,078 new infections, bringing the total to 3622,861, while the number of deaths rose to 115,309, with 565 new deaths registered.

In Germany, data from the Robert Koch Institute for Infectious Diseases showed that 1278 cases and five new deaths were registered, bringing the total to 234,853 cases and 9277 deaths.

In Mexico, the Ministry of Health registered 3,541 new cases of the virus, which brings the total number of infections in the country to 563,705, while 320 deaths were registered, bringing the number of deaths to 60,800 deaths.

In Australia, the state of Victoria registered eight deaths and 148 new infections, and the authorities tightened restrictions on the movement of people and closed large parts of the state’s economy.

In Argentina, 8,713 new infections were registered, bringing the total number of infections to 350,000, in addition to 381 new deaths, bringing the total deaths to 7,366 deaths.

In China, the National Health Commission announced the registration of 14 infections, all of them imported from abroad, bringing the total number of confirmed infections on the Chinese mainland to 84,981, while the number of deaths remains unchanged at 4,634 cases.

In South Korea, the Korean Centers for Disease Control and Prevention registered 280 new infections, bringing the total number of infections to 17,945 infections, while the number of deaths remained at 310.

For the Arab world, Egypt registered 138 infections and 18 new deaths from the new Corona virus, bringing the total number of cases until yesterday evening to 97,478 cases, including 5280 deaths and 66,817 cases that were cured.
