A civilian killed and others wounded by bullets from the QASAD militia in the village of Al-Zer in Deir Ezzor countryside

Deir Ezzor, (ST) – A civilian was killed and others were wounded when “Qasad” (SDF) militia, backed by the American occupation forces, fired directly at the people of Al-Zer village in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.

Local sources told SANA that the people of the village of Al-Zer in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor clashed with armed men from the “Qasad militia” associated with the American occupation.  Qasad militia brought military reinforcements to the village and opened fire directly on the people, causing the death of a civilian and wounding others, in addition to burning one of the cars.

The countryside of Deir Ezzor is witnessing continuous popular demonstrations calling for the expulsion of the American occupation and the Qasad (SDF) militia, which has been persistent in harassing the people, stealing their property, besieging a number of villages and towns, arresting dozens of young men, elders and tribal sheikhs, and stealing the wealth of the Jazira region, in addition to the kidnappings of many villagers in Deir Ezzor countryside, and this militia is completely dependent on the orders of the American occupation forces.
