The renovation of a Roman home in Daraa

The Department of Antiquities in Daraa, in cooperation with the civil society, completed the restoration work of a Roman house in the city of Nawa.

Dr. Muhammad Khair Nasrallah, Head of the Antiquities Department in Daraa, stated in a statement to SANA that the Roman house of Yahya al-Nazir in the city of Nawa represents one of the most important monuments dating back to the Roman era, it   is distinguished by its arches, and geometric inscriptions that form the acanthe leaf that is  one of the most important design , pointing out that the restoration works included  The facade of the house where  the columns have been  lengthened, and the gaps in the walls have been  filled .
