US occupation forces attack a Syrian Army checkpoint southeast of Qameshli, a soldier martyred

HASAKA, (ST)-  A US occupation warplane attacked this morning a Syrian Arab Army checkpoint to the southeast of Qameshli in Hasaka causing the martyrdom of a soldier and the wounding of two others.

SANA reporter in Hasaka said that a warplane affiliated to the US occupation targeted Monday morning a Syrian army checkpoint in Tal al-Zahab area, to the southeast of Qameshli, after the Syrian soldiers at the checkpoint prevented the  a US occupation patrol from passing.

A soldier was martyred and two others were wounded, added the reporter, pointing out that the wounded personnel were transferred to Qameshli National Hospital for necessary medical treatment.

Since the US occupation has established its illegal bases in Hasaka countryside, the locals in a number of villages there, supported by the Syrian Arab Army, have intercepted many US convoys of military vehicles trying to move between villages and towns in that area. The locals forced the convoys to leave and return from where they came after throwing stones at them, in expression of their rejection of the presence of the US occupation troops on Syrian territory.
