In light of the Turkish occupation cutting off drinking water, Al-Hasakah City Council provides water tanks to secure the residents’ needs

Al-Hasakah City Council secured tanks to transport drinking water to the city center, in light of the Turkish occupation forces and their terrorist mercenaries continuing to cut off water from the Alouk Pumping station to the city of Hasakah and its areas.

The Head of Al-Hasakah City CouncilEng. Adnan Khawaja stated that the council has provided  tanks to transport 8,000 cubic meters per day of potable water to the neighborhoods of Al-Hasakah city, after filling them from the wells of Nafashah.

In the same context, the Syrian Arab Red Crescent branch is filling the tanks that it installed in the streets of Al-Hasakah city  to contribute to reducing the suffering of the people during the current period.

The people of Hasaka city demanded the necessity of putting an end to the violations of the Turkish occupier and its mercenaries from the terrorists and to stop them from controlling the Alouk Pumping station.

For his part, the Director General of the Drinking Water Company  in Al-Hasakah, Eng. Mahmoud Okla said that the only solution for the Alouk Pumping Station is the departure of the Turkish occupation forces and their mercenaries from it.

The Turkish occupation forces and its mercenaries continue their violations against the people of Hasaka by cutting off drinking water from the city of Hasakah and reducing the number of working wells and pumps in the Alouk water station.
