India registers a record jump in the number of daily coronavirus infections

India registered a record jump today  in the number of Coronavirus cases, which reached 57,981,thus  increasing the total number of infections to about two million and 65,000, while 941 deaths were recorded, increasing  the total to 50921, according to data issued by the Ministry of Health.

Thus, India ranks third on the list of countries most affected by the virus, after the United States and Brazil.

In Germany, data from the Robert Koch Institute for Infectious Diseases showed today that 561 new infections were recorded, bringing the total number of injuries to 224014, while the number of deaths increased by one case to 9,232.

 

On the Chinese mainland, the National Health Committee said that it had recorded 22 new infections with the virus yesterday, compared to 19 cases the previous day, while no new deaths were recorded, noting that all new infections were imported from abroad.

The total number of confirmed cases in mainland China as of yesterday reached 84,849, while the number of deaths remained unchanged at 4,634.

In South Korea, 200 infections were recorded due to the virus, which raises the death toll to 15,515, while the number of deaths remained unchanged at 305 cases.
