A Turkish soldier killed in northern Iraq

On August 9, the Turkish Ministry of Defense announced the death of a Turkish soldier in northern Iraq.

“ One soldier was killed and two others were wounded during clashes with militants in northern Iraq,” the Anatolia News Agency quoted the Ministry as saying in a statement.

It is noteworthy that the Turkish regime forces have repeatedly violated   Iraqi lands.They  were stationed in the Bashiqa area near the city of Mosul in northern Iraq, in  late 2015.
