43 Syrians martyred in Beirut Port explosion in a non-final death toll: Syrian Embassy in Beirut

BEIRUT, (ST)-  The number of the Syrians who were martyred in the explosion that rocked Beirut Port last Tuesday has reached 43 in a non final death toll, according to the Syrian Embassy in Beirut.

In a statement on Saturday, the Embassy said that as part of its efforts to follow up on the situation of the Syrians who were affected by the Beirut Port explosion, the Embassy provided all facilitation to transport the bodies of some martyrs to Syria and bury some others in Lebanon. It asserted that it has spared no effort to coordinate with concerned authorities in Lebanon to search for the missing.

The Embassy also extended its deep condolences to the families of the Syrian and Lebanese martyrs, wishing speedy recovery to the wounded and hoping that Lebanon will surpass the repercussions of this disaster soon.
