Two bronze medals and a certificate of appreciation for Syria at the Global Chemistry Olympiad

DAMASCUS, (ST) – Students of the Syrian Scientific Olympiad won two bronze medals and a certificate of appreciation in the Global Olympiad in chemistry last Saturday with the participation of students from 80 countries.

The distinction  and Creativity Authority stated in a statement that SANA received a copy of ,that the two bronze medals were won by both students KaramWafik Khaddour from the third secondary class from al-Basel School for Valedictorian Students in Homs and Muhammad Rafi Bilal from the third secondary class from al-Basel School for Valedictorian Students in Tartus.

The certificate of appreciation was won by the studentHassan Yasser Abdel Rahman from Tartous, the third secondary class from the National Center for distinguished students.

This is the second international achievement for the students of the Syrian Scientific Olympiad this month, where the student Anas Abbas of Al-Basel High School for Valedictorian Students in Homs won a bronze medal in the Mandelev International Chemistry Competition organized by Russia for students of secondary education via the internet on the 14th and 15th of this month.
