Lebanese Army Commander: The military vows to protect Lebanon from terrorism and the Israeli enemy

BEIRUT, (ST)- Commander of the Lebanese Army, General Joseph Aoun, has stressed that the army will continue to be the protector of Lebanon and the Lebanese from terrorism and from the Israeli enemy.

In a statement on Wednesday marking the 75th anniversary of the Lebanese Army Day, Gen. Aoun underlined that the military will confront any attempt seeking to undermine Lebanon’s peace, security, and coexistence.

The Lebanese soldiers are being deployed countrywide to maintain security, protect the borders and defend Lebanon against terrorism and against the Israeli enemy’s repeated attempts to harm national unity among the Lebanese and to steal Lebanon’s resources.
