The Israeli occupation separates Al-Quds from the Occupied West Bank

The Israeli policies of Demolishing Palestinian homes, seizing their lands, and attacking Islamic and Christian holy sites in occupied al-Quds especially in Al-Aqsa Mosque are continuing with the aim of emptying  the Holy city from Palestinian presence and Judaizing it accompanied by the silence of the international community, at a time when the  Palestinians ask the international community to punish the occupation for Violations of international legitimacy and international law.

The National Bureau for defending land in the Palestine Liberation Organization clarified that the occupation authorities announcement of plans to establish 1700 housing units to expand a settlement south of occupied al-Quds and 216 units to expand a settlement in Jabal Al-Mukaber, and destroying three commercial centers “one thousand square meters” in Wadi Hilwa neighborhood of Silwan to construct a road to the Mughrabi Gate.

The Director of Wadi Hilweh Information Center Jawad Siam indicated that the occupation put a settlement plan “few meters from the wall of the Al-Aqsa Mosque on an area of 12 dunums” to Judaize the area, pointing out that the occupation has intensified the Judaization in Wadi Hilwa area in Silwan reaching the south of Al-Aqsa. 

He added that the occupation has built five huge underground tunnels from Silwan to Al-Aqsa and has established 42 units surrounding the side of the Umayyad palaces.

Siyam explained that 70 houses in Wadi Hilwah may fall  down or crack  due to the tunnels.

The Palestinian Foreign Ministry condemned the practices and procedures of the occupation and the continuous ethnic cleansing that aimed to judaize al-Quds and empty the Holy city of the Palestinian presence to pass the “Deal of the Century”.
