Israeli warplanes violate Lebanese airspace, fly over South Lebanon areas

BEIRUT, (ST)- The Israeli enemy warplanes on Saturday violated the Lebanese airspace again flying over South Lebanon areas.

According to a statement by the Lebanese Army Command, “18 Israeli reconnaissance planes violated on Saturday the Lebanese airspace and carried out round sorties over South Lebanon.

13 violations were registered over south Lebanon areas, the statement said, adding that these violations are being followed up in coordination with the UN Interim Forces In Lebanon (UNIFIL).

Five Israeli warplanes also violated Lebanon’s airspace on Friday.

The Israeli enemy keeps committing violations against the Lebanese sovereignty over its airspace, regional waters and lands in a flagrant challenge to international resolutions.
