Occupied Jerusalem (ST): Scores of Palestinians were injured and others suffered from suffocation as a result of the Israeli repression of the weekly anti-settlement demonstration in Kafr Qaddoum village which demanded the opening of the street of the village that has been closed for 16 years to the east of Qalqilyeh in the West Bank.
The Coordinator of the popular resistance in Kafr Qaddoum Murad Shteiwi told WAFA news agency that the occupation troops broke into the village and used live ammunition and gas bombs against the demonstrators who took to the streets protesting against the Israeli plans to annex parts of the West Bank.
The village of Kafr Qaddoum has been witnessing weekly demonstrations in protest against the Israeli settlement policy and the racist segregation wall.
Meanwhile, Israeli occupation troops renewed targeting Palestinian lands in the besieged Gaza Strip. WAFA news agency said that the occupation troops opened fire against Palestinian farmers in the villages of al-Fakhari and Khuza’a to the east of Khan Younes forcing them to leave their lands.
Israeli forces of occupation attack Palestinian lands in Gaza Strip on daily basis to deprive the Palestinians from framing them in light of the unfair siege which has been imposed on the Strip for years.
