HASAKA, (ST)- Five civilians were martyred and several others were wounded in a car bomb blast in Ras al-Ayn city in Hasaka northwestern countryside where Turkish-backed terrorist groups have heavy presence.

SANA reporter said, citing local sources as saying that a booby-trapped car exploded near al-Jouzeh Roundabout in Ras al-Ayn city claiming the lives of five civilians, wounding several others and causing material damage to properties.

Villages and towns under the control of the Turkish occupation and its terrorist mercenaries in Hasaka countryside are witnessing a state of chaos and insecurity as a result of infighting among these terrorist groups over areas of influence and control in the city, turning the life of citizens there into a nightmare.
