Erdogan’s regime authorities issue arrest warrants for 25 soldiers

Ankara, (ST) – The authorities of the Turkish regime issued arrest warrants for 25 soldiers, under the pretext of being linked to the preacher Fethullah Gulen, whom this regime accuses of being behind the attempted coup in Turkey in 2016.

Anatolia News Agency, a spokeswoman for the Turkish system, quoted the public prosecutor in the capital, Ankara, as saying an arrest warrant has been issued against 25 army monitors for communicating with members of the Gulen organization in the Turkish armed forces, and 12 of them were arrested during several raids.

The prosecution stated that 19 of the wanted are in active service, while the rest are retired and dismissed.

The Erdogan regime continues crackdowns against its opponents in various cities and regions of Turkey, where over the past years thousands of civilians and military personnel have been arrested, as well as the dismissal or suspension of about 150,000 workers in the government, the army, the judiciary, education, and other institutions.
