The election of People’s Assembly for the third legislative session

 Syrians  participate today in the elections of “People’s Assembly for its third legislative session” to choose 250 members to represent them in the People’s Assembly from 1,656 candidates, through opening7,277 centers in all governorates. Syria times (e-news paper) met some of these people.

Raghda Sawas said to Syriatimes that “This year’s People’s Assembly election is an opportunity for people to choose the right person that will represent them and transfer their concerns and problems”, calling on everyone to participate widely in the elections”.

While Mahmoud said that “the elections require active participation of all people, indicating that, as Syrian citizens we should participate in the elections to choose the appropriate candidate who transmits people’s concerns and aspirations”.

 Mamoun, another participant in the elections, pointed out that these elections are a challenge in the difficult circumstances and an affirmation that we will build our future in this the country. The elections require wide participation in this stage and every citizen has to choose the appropriate candidate.

Samer said to Syriatimes that People’s Assembly elections represent the real meaning of democracy.

Another citizen, Nizar said that the Election Day is a chance to choose our candidate who will be able to convey people’s concerns and sufferings.

Sanaa Hasan through her participation in the elections today,  wishes that the candidate can improve upon the conditions of life of the people for better and overcome all difficulties, calling on Syrian people to vote for their candidates and express their opinions in a transparent way.
