The  Palestinian  city of Jenin  in the west Bank  is witnessing for the second consecutive day protest stands  against the Israeli occupation crimes and their treatment of the Palestinian prisoners   and in solidarity with the sick prisoner with cancer Kamal Abu Waer who is  also infected with Coronavirus due to the deliberate medical negligence of the occupation authorities.

The stands  were organized on Thursday by the Journalists Union and the Prisoners Club in front of the Red Cross headquarters in Jenin.

Wafa News Agency reported that the participants in the stand stressed that the Palestinian people will continue their struggle to defend their legitimate rights and raise the voice of the truth in order to expose the crimes of the  Israeli occupation.

The participants emphasized that the health condition  of the prisoner Abu Waar is getting worse day after day and it requires urgent intervention at all levels to provide appropriate treatment for him and save his life.

They called  on  human rights establishments  to put  pressure on the occupation authorities to release him ,  the sick prisoners, the elderly, children and women.

About six thousand Palestinian prisoners inside the Israeli occupation jails  face harsh conditions of detention, as 1,800 prisoners suffer from multiple diseases due to the spread of epidemics and germs, among them about 700 prisoners are in need of   urgent medical intervention, especially cases of cancer, kidney failure and paralysis..
