Citizens in Qameshli countryside call for immediate expulsion of US and Turkish occupation forces from Syria
HASAKA, (ST)- Citizens in Abu Zweil village in Qameshli countryside in Hasaka rallied on Thursday demanding the departure of the American and Turkish occupation forces from their lands and expressing their condemnation of the so-called “Caesar Act” that imposes further unfair sanctions on the Syrian people.
The participants called for lifting the US coercive measures imposed on Syria and burned the American flag in protest against the US occupation of Syrian lands and against Washington’s policy and arbitrary procedures being adopted against the Syrian people.
The racist administration of US President Donald Trump has stolen the country’s wealth and resources and caused massive destruction in Syria through supporting terrorist organizations, and now it wants to complete its scheme against Syria through imposing the so-called “Caesar Act” in an attempt to force the Syrian people to kneel, one of the participants told SANA reporter. He stressed that these American attempts won’t succeed in subjugating the Syrians.
Other participants said that their rally affirms the locals’ rejection of the illegal presence of the US forces in Syria which is the main cause of instability and insecurity in the country. They called for the immediate expulsion of the US and Turkish occupation forces from Syria.
