Pakistani President stresses his country’s keenness to expand economic, social cooperation with Syria
ISLAM ABAD, (ST)- President Arif Alawi of Pakistan has stressed that his country is keen on enhancing relations with Syria.
During a meeting on Thursday with the newly accredited Pakistani ambassador to Syria Saeed Mohammad Khan, President Alawi said that his country accords special attention to boosting the already strong and brotherly Syrian-Pakistani relations in all domains.
He instructed the new Pakistani ambassador to focus on expanding economic, trade and social cooperation with Syria.
The Pakistani diplomat is due to start his mission in Syria soon replacing his predecessor Rasheed Kamal who has represented his country in Syria for three years.
