In “Yalbogha al-Khair” initiative, tangible discounts and huge turnout of citizens

At low prices less than the cost, and through a variety of commodities that the family needs, “Yalbogha Al Khair” initiative continues at the Yalbogha complex in Marjeh square in the center of Damascus.  The initiative  was launched five days ago, attracting thousands of citizens around the clock to buy their basic needs of foodstuffs, detergents, and other items that the family needs, running away from the market’s astronomical prices.

With the high turnout of citizens to purchase items from the sales halls, the initiative caretakers expressed keenness to comply with all precautionary measures to prevent corona virus,  alerting citizens at the entrance of the hall through a phrase: “Your health is important to us .. Receive your face mask when entering for free”. Once citizens enter through an organized queue, they sterilize their hands and then wander in the hall where all items and shelves are sterilized continuously.

Large numbers of citizens visit the sales halls due to the clear difference in prices between the hall’s and the markets.

Mohamed Al-Nassani, one of the organizers of the initiative, indicated in a statement to SANA that this initiative, which was launched a week ago, aims at supporting the citizens in light of the high prices, so that the consumer can get his basic materials at the lowest price and less than the cost.

A number of citizens expressed their gratitude for organizers of the initiative as it played pivotal role in easing the burdens of life in these difficult circumstances, hoping that the initiative would continue at the same pace.
