Iraqi forces arrest 7 terrorists during operations in Salah al-Din

Baghdad,(ST)-Iraqi forces arrested seven wanted terrorists during their operations in Salah Al-Din Governorate, in the center of the country.

“According to accurate intelligence information, the security forces arrested seven terrorists in separate areas of Al-Tuz district in Salah al-Din Governorate, who are wanted by the government for belonging to the terrorist gangs of ISIS,” the Iraqi Intelligence Agency said in a statement quoted by the Alsumaria News website.

The agency added that “after the initial investigation, the arrested persons confessed to carrying out terrorist operations against the security forces during the days of ISIS gangs’ control of some areas,” referring to their referral to the judicial authorities.

 

Yesterday, Iraqi forces arrested two ISIS terrorists in the northern Iraqi province of Kirkuk.
