Cuban FM renews criticism of US blockade on his country

Havana (ST): Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla renewed his country’s criticism for the continuity of the American blockade imposed on his country in light of  the spread of the Corona virus pandemic.

In a tweet he made today, Rodriguez referred  to the competent national efforts exerted in confrontation of the fatal disease. ” Despite the US blockade which prevented us from buying breathing devices, we will have 500 local-made devices by next October.” He noted. He also criticized the failure of the US in confronting the fatal virus.

In turn, Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel  expressed high appreciation for the strenuous Cuban efforts exerted in Andorra, Nicaragua and Barbados in confrontation of the corona virus, noting that Cuba set an example of solidarity and cooperation in confrontation with the international Corona crisis.
