Vaezi : European countries have abandoned their obligations towards the nuclear agreement under American pressure

On July 12, Iranian President Office’s Chief Mahmoud Vaezi said that European countries have shown a lot of weakness and complied under  American pressure to abandon their obligations towards the nuclear agreement with Iran.

Vaezi said in a statement to Iranian television that the Europeans were subject to American pressure and did not fulfill their obligations, and they are now trying to buy time in the coming months until the date of the US presidential elections.

Vaezi said that Iran does not see a difference between US President Donald Trump and US presidential candidate Joe Biden and does not intend to establish relations with America.

Vaezi added  that Iran’s  primary goal is to move past the unjust ban that affects the Iranian people’s livelihood and  economy.

Vaezi stressed that Tehran did not trust America or Europe but agreed to the nuclear agreement because it was built on the basis of the interests of its people and will remain committed to it as long as these interests are preserved.

In another context, Vaezi stressed that his country and China want  to establish long-term relations, explaining that China is the second economic power in the world and Iran is an important player in the region.
