“QASD” groups continue to prevent employees from entering the Electric Company and the Grain Corporation

Hasaka, (ST) – For the fourth consecutive day, US occupation-backed QASD (SDF) groups continued to prevent employees of the General Electricity Company and the Grain Corporation from entering and fulfilling their jobs and providing services to citizens.

The Director General of the Electricity Company, Eng. Anwar Okleh, confirmed in a statement to SANA reporter that the employees still protest in front of the company building and are committed returning to their jobs to provide service to citizens in light of QASD groups’ acts that prevent them from entering and starting  work.

A number of the workers at the Grain Corporation, who have staged a sit-in in front of the institution’s building, said that QASD groups on Wednesday morning seized their mobile sets, asserting that these practices will not prevent them from continuing their sit-in and condemning these actions that target the citizens and damage service situation.

A number of the residents of Hasaka said that the““Qasd” groups implement the agenda of the American occupier trying to seize the buildings of the Syrian state in flagrant violation of all international norms and laws”. The residents expressed their rejection of these actions which aim at transforming these service buildings into illegal military headquarters for the American forces and using them to carry out their malicious plans against the Syrian people.
