Locals of Tal Hamis town in the eastern countryside of Hasaka protest against the practices of “Qasad” groups

The people of Tel Hamis town in the eastern countryside of Hasaka on Tuesday started demonstrations condemning the practices of the US-backed Kurdish groups called “Qasad” Syrian Democratic Forces against the people and the bad conditions of the electricity and water sectors after these groups forcibly took control of the centers and headquarters of the Electricity Company and other government buildings in Hasaka city.

Local sources told SANA correspondent that dozens of people from the town of Tel Hamis took to the streets in a demonstration against Qasad’s repressive practices against the locals, practices which affect everything, including their livelihood, crops and the various rendered services.

The sources pointed out that armed groups from “Qasad” dispersed the protesters and demonstrators by the force of arms and arrested a number of them.

On the 27th of this month, the“Qasad”  groups, backed  by the American occupation, occupied by the force of arms the buildings of the Syrian General Administration for Cereals, the building of the General Company for Hasaka Electricity, the Sports City, part of the youth housing buildings, the Syrian Computer Society, the Directorate of Industry and Tourism and Environmental Affairs, the Traffic Branch, the Directorate of Civil Registry and the Commercial Bank in Hasaka city and expelled the workers from those buildings.
