US-backed Kurdish militia occupies several government buildings in Hasaka

HASAKA, (ST)- The US-backed Kurdish militia, called Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), on Saturday occupied several government buildings and headquarters in the city of Hasaka.  

SANA reporter said that the US-backed militia occupied, under the threat of arms, the building of the General Administration of the Syrian Establishment for Cereals in Hasaka’s Ghweiran neighborhood, the headquarters of the General Company for Hasaka Electricity in al-Nashwa neighborhood, the Sports City, parts from the Youth Housing Project’s buildings, the Syrian Computer Society branch, the Directorate of Industry, Tourism and Environmental Affairs, the Hasaka Traffic Branch, the Civil Registration Directorate and the Commercial Bank.   

The militia also expelled the employees.

 Eng. Yusuf Qasem, Director General of the Cereal Establishment confirmed SDF’s acts, adding that the militia has closed the doors of the  establishment and prevented the employees to enter the building.

SANA reporter affirmed that the SDF militia are puppets in the hands of their US master in order to turn the area into a military zone, adding that these forces have hoisted the occupation’s flag on the Traffic branch building.
