“Caesar Act” will not succeed in breaking the steadfastness of the Syrian people, says Jordanian parliamentarian
Amman, (ST) – Jordanian MP Nabil Gaishan stressed that the US unilateral coercive measures, including the so-called “Caesar Act”, cannot break the steadfastness of the Syrian people who have faced conspiracies and challenges over the past years.
“The new US sanctions against Syria came after the failure of the project to target them through terrorism, and it represents an attempt to help terrorist organizations, including (ISIS), after its defeat by the Syrian Arab Army,” Gaishan told SANA correspondent in Amman.
Gaishan stated that the “Caesar Act” comes in light of the American and Zionist attempts to adapt the Arab region to pass the so-called deal of the century,” calling for a unified international and Arab position to confront these colonial measures that history has never witnessed.
