Two Jordanians: Caesar Act denotes Washington’s continued violation of human rights

Member of the Executive Committee of the Jordanian Media and Intellectuals Gathering for Syria, ‘Isnad’ Kayed Al-Shayeb has expressed confidence that Syria will overcome the unilateral western economic coercive measures imposed on it, especially the so-called American Caesar Act, as it achieved victories against the terrorist war on it.

Al-Shayeb stated that imposing such a law aims to make harder the Syrian people’s life.
In a similar statement, Jordanian economist Khaled Al-Zubaidi said that ‘the law of shame’ is absolutely unacceptable and is a form of colonialism and indicates the persistence of the West, especially America, in violating humanitarian standards and human rights.
Al-Zubaidi called on the Jordanian government, public and private sectors to reject this law whatever the results are.

In turn, Marwa Al-Majayda, Dean of the University College of Al-Zaytuna in GazaStrip has affirmed that the so-called Caesar Law targets the Syrian people in their livelihood and an attempt to pressure Syria to discourage them from their national and pan-Arabism stands , condemning Washington’s practices in imposing its hegemony on peoples.
