DER EZZOUR, (ST)_The province of Der Ezzour witnessed today a national popular rally to denounce the US sanctions and coercive measures on Syria, according to the Syrian News Agency (SANA).

The agency said that the participants in the rally asserted their adherence to national principles and their determination to adopt self-reliance to confront the sanctions on their country.

“The so-called the ‘Caesar Act’ violates the international and human laws and it comes within the framework of conspiracy against Syria and its people.. Let everyone know that people, who have sacrificed to defend their land, will never be affected by these measures,” Head of Endowment Directorate Sheikh Mokhtar Azi al-Naqeshbandi said.

On his part, Head of Farmers Union Khazzan al-Saho said that the farmers of the province will do their utmost to ensure the requirements of the homeland’s people to confront the Caesar Act.

One of the al-Bokhabour Clan’s notables Sheokh Fawwaz al-Wakka’a said that the US unjust measures against Syria come following the failure of Washington’s  terrorist tools in making any advance in the battle against the Syrian army.
