The Greek army confirms its readiness to respond to any attack by the Turkish regime on Greek land

Athena,(ST)-The Greek army chief of staff, Constantius Florus, affirmed his country’s readiness to respond to any attack by the Turkish regime on Greek land.

“We will burn those who set foot on Greek land,” Florus said in a statement to a Greek television channel, noting that a military conflict with Turkey should not be excluded if it crossed the red lines with its aggressive policy.

Florus added that the confrontation will not be limited to one point, but will widen.

Last Sunday, Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dundas stressed that Greece will defend its sovereignty and rights in the face of attempts by the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s regime to extort it in order to obtain concessions.
