Moscow (ST): Deputy Director of the Institute of Settling Political Crises Alexander Kuzntsov said that the US unilateral coercive measures imposed on Syria, especially the so-called Caesar Act target the livelihood of Syrian people and prove, once again, the vicious nature of the US policy.
In a statement, Kuzntsov said that this Act aims at exacerbating the difficult living condition of the Syrians who are suffering the adverse consequences of the unfair terrorist war that targeted their homeland and destroyed its infrastructure.
He affirmed the necessity of helping Syria and asking the UN Security Council to review these illegal US measures which violate the human rights of Syrian people , especially their right to life, noting that these measures should be declared by the UNSC as null and void because they run contrary to international conventions.
