Beirut: Al-Wafa’ parliamentary bloc condemns US coercive measures

Beirut (ST): Al-Wafa’ Bloc at the Lebanese Parliament has denounced the US unilateral coercive measures against Syria, stressing that the so-called Caesar Act targets Lebanon and Syria to blackmail them in their national and sovereign rights.

In a statement released at the end of its meeting, the bloc affirmed that  these measures contradict international law and they are one of the US policies used against the states that are not subjugated to the US hegemony.

The statement added that these measures aim at protecting  the Israeli occupation, covering its terrorism and supporting its expansionist settlement policy.
