Russian politician: The “US Caesar Act” on Syria is immoral and inhumane

Head of the Caucasian Division of the Institute of Commonwealth countries, Director of the Public Policy Research center, Dr. Vladimir V. Evseev has termed the US “Caesar Act” on Syria as immoral and inhumane.

Speaking to the correspondent of the Syria News Agency (SANA) in Moscow,  Evseev said that the U.S. unilateral and coercive measures against the people of Syria amid the outbreak of Coronavirus are inhumane and immoral acts as these sanctions deprive the people of medicine and medical equipment.

He affirmed that the United States is doing its utmost to enhance the capabilities of terrorist groups with the aim of prolonging their practices in the region it occupies.

“The U.S. seeks to damage the industrial, agricultural, transport and building sectors in Syria,” he added, citing that the so-called “Caesar Act” must be condemned by the international community.

He stressed that the Act reveals the immoral reality of the US Administration that tries to cover what is going on in its states through dictating its aggressive policies.
