Damascus, (ST) – The governmental committee concerned with the return of Syrian citizens from abroad has approved to operate a flight of the Syrian Airlines, “Damascus, New Delhi, Damascus” designated for the transportation of Syrian students, according to a statement issued by the Ministry of Transport.
The ministry indicated that the exact date of the flight and its health procedures will be announced after the completion of registration and international flight permissions in coordination with the ministries of Health and Foreign Affairs and Expatriates and that the returning students benefit from the decision of the Minister of Transport to deduct 35 percent of the price of the ticket on the flight.
The students who will come back must sign a pledge at the Syrian embassy in India before departure to comply with the required health conditions, especially adherence to the quarantine in the Al-Harjla Center in Damascus countryside and separately.
The Ministry called on the families of students who are registered with the Syrian embassy in New Delhi and contacted them in Syria to review the Syrian aviation offices in Damascus or the rest of the Syrian governorates during the period from the 18th to the 20th of June.. The Ministry indicatedthat a plane was allocated from the Syrian Airlines Establishment, with a capacity of 250 passengersfor a flight from Damascus to New Delhi directly.
