Electrical system in the phosphate and mines area in Homs rehabilitated

The General Company for Electricity in Homs, in cooperation with the General Company for Phosphate and Mines as well as the General Company for Electricity and Communications, has completed the first phase of the project of rehabilitating the electrical system in the phosphate and mines area to the east of Homs province.

Musleh al-Hasan, Director of the General Company for Electricity in Homs, said that work will continue in order to rehabilitate the rest of the system, pointing out that the electric network in this area was massively damaged because of terrorism.

The phosphate and mines area in Homs was under the control of the terrorist groups. It was liberated by the Syrian Arab Army almost three years ago.
