Baghdad (ST): Three Katyusha missiles were launched into the area surrounding Baghdad International Airport at dawn today.
The Iraqi Security Media Cell said that three Katyusha missile fell in the area adjacent to Baghdad International airport but no casualties were reported. The cell noted that the missiles were launched by using wooden bases.
It added that security forces found several missiles in al-Makaseb neighborhood and defused them.
Last Saturday, two missiles were launched into al-Taji base to the north of Iraq where US troops are positioned.
