Opening a corridor for the exit of students from Idlib province to take high school exam

The Ministry of Education, in cooperation with the concerned authorities and international organizations, have completed preparations to secure the exit of students from Idleb wishing to apply for the high school exams after completing all necessary procedures for their safety and security.

The ministry said in a statement, which SANA received a copy on Sunday, that the terrorist organizations in Idlib prevented students from applying for the high school degree in order to spread ignorance and extremism.

 

The ministry pointed out that it has raised this issue in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate and in coordination With the concerned authorities and international organizations to secure the exit of these students and allow them to apply for their exams.

The concerned authorities opened a corridor in the village of Tarmaba on the Arihah-Sarakeb highway to secure the exit of students from areas where the terrorists spread in Idlib Governorate to Hama Governorate.

Eng. Fadi Al-Saadoun, who is in charge of the tasks of the Idlib Governor, told SANA that opening a corridor comes within the framework of the Syrian government efforts and in seeking the interest of students and in pursuing their academic education. He Indicated that the corridor will remain open until the beginning of the exams, to allow the largest possible number of students to pass and sit their exams in the safe and stable areas.

Saaadoun underlined that the administrative and service authorities in Idlib Governorate, in cooperation with the Governorate of Hama and a number of international organizations adopted the precautionary measures to address the Corona virus during the period of exam.

He confirmed that the terrorists have so far prevented any student from leaving the corridor in order to impose arbitrary measures against the students and stop their education progress.

On his part, the director of Idlib Education, Engineer Abdul Hamid Muammar said that 2,100 students from Idlib Governorate are expected to pass the corridor to submit their exams and they will be transferred in cooperation with the Syrian Arab Red Crescent from the corridor to the hosting centers in Hama, which are equipped with various residency requirements.
