Senior resistance scholar: Enemies want us without resistance or dignity

BEIRUT, (ST)- Head of the International Union of Resistance Scholars, Sheikh Maher Hamoud, has affirmed that the American conspiracies and unilateral coercive measures are the cause of the deteriorating economic situation in Syria and Lebanon.

In a statement in Sidon on Friday, Sheikh Hamoud said “today, we are experiencing brutal coercive measures imposed by the United States directly or indirectly on our nation without any deterrence.”

“Our enemies want us without weapons, resistance or dignity,” he reiterated.
