14,000 dunums of agricultural fields were destroyed by fires caused by Erdogan’s mercenaries in Ras Al-Ain countryside

Al-Hasakah,(ST)- The fires that broke out in the occupied western countryside of Ras al-Ain during the past two days, and which the mercenaries of the Turkish regime had caused, destroyed about 14,000 dunums planted with wheat and barley crops.

According to civil sources, the fires spread from the vicinity of the town of Mabrouka to the villages of Al-Rawiya, Al-Dahma, Al-Khaldiyah, Abu Al-Suun, Tal Pig, Abu Jalud and Tal Al-Janab, indicating that the fire completely devoured the crop and brought it out of the production department.

The sources pointed out that the cause of the fires is due to the fact that the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation from the terrorist organizations set fire to the agricultural lands to constrict the people and fight them economically to force them to leave their areas.

The reports of the Directorate of Hasakeh Agriculture indicate that the fires that broke out in the agricultural crops of the 2020 season destroyed about 16,000 hectares of wheat and barley crops.
