Completion of 850 applications for a grant of unemployment allowance in Lattakia

Wiaam Al-Qusaery, director of the National Fund for Social Aid in Lattakia, explained that 850 requests have been completed for the grants of the unemployment allowance approved by the government for people affected by the interruption of their work during the application of precautionary measures to address the Corona virus.

She pointed out that the branch witnessed congestion at the beginning of work as a result of the large numbers of  review cases, in addition to the presence of numbers of those who were not registered mainly on unemployment requests or people who did not receive the messages related to providing unemployment benefits, stressing that the branch continues to receive the requests of citizens who were accepted in the first batch and received the messages.

Al-Qusaery indicated that the branch receives requests from the applicant to submit a written statement that he is not an employee and one of those affected whose work is disrupted and after that he is given a check to receive the estimated amount of 100,000 Syrian pounds from the Finance Directorate.
