Infections with Coronavirus around the world exceeds 7 million and more than 406,000 deaths

Capitals,(ST)-The “World Meters” website, which tracks the number of Coronavirus victims, announced that the number of infections worldwide exceeded 7 million, while the number of deaths reached more than 406 thousand cases.

The website said in data today that 7092919 Infections were recorded in 196 countries and regions as of yesterday, while the number of deaths reached 406,207, indicating that the number of people recovering from the epidemic reached 3462,185 people.

In total, the United States recorded the highest deaths in the world, as of yesterday, 113,320 cases out of 200,022 Infections, while Britain is the country most affected after the United States, with 40,542 deaths from 286,194 Infections, followed by Brazil with 35,930 deaths from 6,728,46 Infections, then Italy with 33,899 Death from 234,998 Infections, France which recorded 29,155 deaths from 190,974 Infections.

Among the most affected countries, Belgium recorded the highest mortality rate for the population with 83 deaths per 100,000 inhabitants, followed by the United Kingdom with 60, Spain with 58, Italy with 56 and Sweden with 46.

On the continental level, the number of deaths in Europe reached 183536 from 2275091 Infections so far.

The United States and Canada combined 117,885 deaths from 202,373 Infections.

In Latin America and the Caribbean, 64,219 deaths were recorded from 1,298,891 Infections. The number of deaths declared in Asia was 19,244 out of 6,800,444 Infections, in the Middle East 10,492 out of 47,822 Infections, in Africa 5074 out of 185,247 Infections, and in Oceania 131 of 8,640 Infections.
