The Syrian women’s Eastern Music Band honors Al-Assad University Hospital doctors and nurses

The Syrian Eastern Women Music  Band will hold a concert on June 5 for the medical and nursing staff at Al-Assad University Hospital in appreciation of their role during the response to the Corona virus.

The concert will be held within the activities of the “Culture in your home”.
The band is trying to bring together through its project the ingenuity and the constant aspiration for the best  hoping for the revival of the Syrian and Arab musical heritage in all its forms and with a feminist perspective.

The band performed many concerts at the most important Syrian theaters such as the Opera House, Al-Assad Library, the Palace of Conferences, the theater of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Al-Hamra Theater, and a number of cultural centers such as the Arab, French and Palestinian Cultural Centers, the office of Anbar, Beit Sibai, and the Damascene Hall at the National Museum in Damascus.
The band also took  part in many occasions abroad. It represented Syria in many Syrian cultural weeks and activities as well as in the conferences in the Netherlands, Greece, China, Germany, Italythe United Arab Emirates, Jordan LebanonBahrain, Baghdad and the Sultanate of Oman.
