Czech Union: The burning of agricultural crops in Syria by American occupation forces is a war crime
The Czech Communist Youth Union affirmed that the burning of agricultural crops and looting oil and antiquities in Syria by American occupation forces are a war crime.
In a comment on its website, the Union pointed out that a lot of reliable evidence and sources confirm that the American occupation forces are burning the agricultural crops of the Syrians through fabricating extensive fires and then intimidating civilians through carrying out low altitude sorties above their homes.
The union stated that the destruction of Syrian agriculture and the revival of the scorched earth method used in Vietnam “have now become the United States’ military strategy in Syria,” which must be evaluated by international and legal organizations as a war crime.
Civil and media sources confirmed that since the approach of the harvest season of wheat and barley crops, the (Apache) aircraft of the American occupation forces have deliberately begun throwing thermal balloons while flying at a low altitude over agricultural fields, causing a number of fires in wheat and barley fields in a number of villages in Hasaka countryside.
The International Business Times news website, in its version issued in Singapore, confirmed that US President Donald Trump signed orders to burn agricultural crops in Syria.
