11 new coronavirus cases have been registered in Syria..The patients are among the citizens who arrived recently from Kuwait

DAMASCUS, (ST)- The Syrian Health Ministry on Saturday announced that 11 new coronavirus cases have been registered in Syria raising the total number of infections to 70, out of which 37 patients have recovered and four others have died.

All the new cases are among the citizens who have arrived recently from Kuwait, according to the ministry.

The health ministry hasn’t registered any local infection in Syria since the beginning of this month.

The first registered COVID-19 case was confirmed in Syria on March 22 for a patient who came from abroad, while the first death was registered on March 29.
