The First Legislative Judge: Sunday is the first day of al-Fitr Eid

Damascus (ST): The First legislative  Judge in Damascus Mahmoud al-Ma’arawi said that Sunday 24/05/2020 will be the first day of Eid al-Fitr holiday.

In a statement, al-Ma’arawi said that the crescent that indicates the beginning of the lunar month of Shawwal was not detected on Friday night which is the 29th day of Ramadan, and thereby Saturday is the 30th day of Ramadan and Sunday will be the first day of Shawwal and the first day of  Eid al-Fitr. May Allah bring it back to us and the Arab and Islamic nation with good, blessings and victory.
