A fire broke out near the point of the Turkish occupation in the countryside of Ras Al-Ain, causing destruction to wheat and barley fields in several villages in the city’s northwest of Hasaka.
Local sources told SANA correspondent that a fire was started on Tuesday near a point for the Turkish occupation south of Ras Al-Ayn, which later caused several other fires to break out in large areas of wheat and barley fields in the villages of al-Manajir, al-Ahras, al-Amariya, Tal Atash, and Arat Abu Bakr affiliated to Ras al-Ayn in the northwestern countryside of Hasaka.
The sources added that the Turkish occupation forces intentionally set fire off as part of its terrorist practices to pressure the people and push them to leave their areas by sabotaging their property and agricultural crops.
It is worth mentioning that on 16th of May, tens of dunums planted with wheat and barley in Hasaka countryside were burned down in a fire caused by the Turkish-backed terrorists during infighting.
