A plane of the American occupation forces burned more than 200 dunums of wheat fields by throwing a number of thermal balloons over agricultural lands in the countryside of Al-Shaddadi, south of Hasaka.

An Apache helicopter belonging to the American occupation forces this morning threw a number of thermal balloons while flying close to the ground, causing a number of fires and burning more than 200 dunums of fields cultivated with wheat in Adla village, in the countryside of Al-Shaddadi, south of Al-Hasakah, SANA correspondent in Hasakah quoted sources in the region as saying.

The sources pointed out that the American occupation planes, while flying in the region, are carrying out provocative flights, as they approach very close to the homes of the families and the agricultural fields, causing panic and fear, especially among children.

During its illegal presence, the American occupation forces established bases in several areas in the Syrian Jazeera, supplying them with weapons and logistical equipment through the illegal crossings with Iraq to enhance their presence and steal oil, Syrian underground resources and major crops.
