Al-Halqi Reiterates Government’s Support for National Health Policies

DAMASCUS, (ST) – Prime Minister Wael al-Halqi has reiterated the government’s support for the national health strategy and urged completing the implementation of tumors hospitals projects in a number of Syrian governorates despite the ongoing crisis in the country.

Al-Halqi was speaking at a seminar held at the Damascus branch of Physicians Syndicate on the situation of tumor diseases in Syria.

“The government backs all efforts by health-concerned institutions to act as a teamwork to boost health policies and upgrade health services in the country,” al-Halqi said.

“We are so ambitious about the development of all health institutions concerned in treating tumors,” he added.
