A unique experience in using drawing with education and artistic design

The artist Sanaa Shannan has a rich and varied experience represented by employing her talent for drawing in the fields of education and artistic design for more than 17 years. Sanaa has mostly lived  abroad.

SANA quoted Shannan as saying that she has loved drawing since she was five years old  and she won many competitions that were carried out by  Al-Baath Vanguards Organization and participated in many artistic camps at that time , noting that the encouragement she had received from the art teachers and the other teachers in her school, who were asking her to draw different parts of the human body to be used in explaining  the lessons, was a great incentive for her to develop her talent.

She continued her studies at the Institute of Drawing in Sweida, where she participated in group exhibitions and worked as a teacher for a short period before traveling abroad to work in design, jewelry and decoration.

The works of the artist Sana are predominantly realistic, in which she addresses many human faces, historical and famous personalities and heritage, in addition to drawing the covers of the collections of her husband, poet Hossam Nawaf Ghanem.

Sana, who continues to draw from  her home in the city of Sweida, is currently drawing a painting depicting a woman who lives the beautiful colors of life away from darkness, indicating that she received invitations to participate with this painting in an exhibition in Germany.

The danger caused by the Corona virus to humans prompted Sanaa to draw a painting entitled “Nature is renewed” in which it shows how a person moves away from carrying out activities that were harmful to the environment and his commitment to the home, which gives nature an opportunity to regenerate itself  to what it was created for
