Prague, (ST) – Ivan David, a member of the European Parliament for the Czech Republic, stressed that the unilateral coercive measures imposed by the West on Syria are illegal.
David said in an interview given to a SANA correspondent in Prague that, “These measures have caused more suffering to the Syrian people, just as the sanctions imposed on other countries, such as Iran, Venezuela and Cuba,” pointing out that continuing with these sanctions during the time of the spread of the Corona epidemic around the world is causing serious dangers.
David called for the abolition of these measures because theses measures have shown their failure completely.
On the other hand, David condemned the aggression launched by the Turkish regime against Syria, demanding the imposition of sanctions on this regime , including a ban on the export of arms and ammunition .
